7 foot midget, in my opinion, has brought back the fun to the local punk shows. These guys always find ways to get the audience to sing, laugh, and just have great time. With a lot of Las Vegas kids turning to raves to find the fun - 7 foot midget has proved that punk rock (and naked guys) is still where it's at. Whether it's by strippin' down to their "bare-nothings" or by singing songs with lyrics such as "i wanna fuck your mom" and the ever popular "i don't date mormons" these guys will always go the distance to put on a show. Oh yeah - let's not forget those synchronized pelvic thrusts; huh, ladies?! (nudge, nudge)

*IDB: How did you get the name "7 FOOT MIDGET?"

Nick V.: STOLE IT. Jay was in a band in California called "6 Foot Midget" - so we stole it and changed it to "7 FOOT MIDGET"... we grew a foot.

*IDB: Describe the type of music that you play.

Nick V.: Sucky Punk Rawk

*IDB: What can kids expect to see/hear at one of your shows?

Nick V.: Naked people.
Nick W.: Usually it's limited to naked guys though... oh well.

*IDB: How long have you been together? How did you meet?

Nick V.: We've been together as a band for about 1 1/2 years. I've known Nick (W.) since fourth grade. He was always a big nerd. We met up with Jay and Jonn almost 2 years ago and started up that summer. We (Nick & Nick) were in a different band before (4 CENTS!).

*IDB: Do you have any weird/funny stories about things that have happened at one of your shows?

Nick V.: Well... there was that "underwear show"... pretty grotesque... Nick (W.) was naked... and Jonn gets naked almost all of the time.

*IDB: What bands do you look up to or are your inspiration?

Nick V.: Weezer. Of course NOFX. Propaghandi and probably a lot more but... oh Lagwagon.
Nick W.: No Use For a Name and Craig's Brother.

*IDB: Where can "the kids on the streets" pick up a copy of your tape "We'll clean it up next time?"

Nick V.: At our shows or from one of us.
Nick W.: I don't know if the kids should want it because it contains a few words that shouldn't be added to their vocabulary. What street do they live on?

*IDB: Do you have any upcoming shows scheduled?

Nick W.: The 30th of this month... AT THE HUNTRIDGE!
Nick V.: February 20 at Cafe Roma. (sorry they both already happened)

*IDB: So... do you date mormons?

Nick V.: No... not anymore.
Nick W.: Not yet. And I hope not anytime soon.

*IDB: Anything else you want to say?

Nick V.: I'm Nick... Hear me roar.
