Hey everyone. Got some news for ya'll - first off, if you didn't notice on our front page... WE'RE FUCKING PLAYING WITH GUTTERMOUTH ON DEC. 22!!! Sorry about that - we're kinda stoked about it. If you want more info, go to our shows page. Other news n' stuff...
We're also playing at the Sanctuary on December 9th with nine other cool local bands including 3rd Man In, Purge, The Pinheads, No Ride Home, and Roundabout, among others. It's only 5 bones, and the money will go toward putting out the NakedMissingPersonz compilation, so it's going towards a good cause and all, if you're into that kinda stuff.
We're currently in the studio recording our first full length and it's taking a bit longer than expected. We were shooting for an early January release date, but now it's lookin' more like it will be at least until February or later. In addition to the recording taking longer than expected, we are also having trouble finding someone to do the cover art. We are looking for someone who is good at painting realistic people and scenes, similar to the style of Norman Rockwell. So if there are any good artists out there who are interested in painting our CD cover, please e-mail Nicky V. at sixfootdwarf@hotmail.com.
We finally got some real vinyl stickers from the Sticker Guy!!! These ones actually cost us money! One old design and one brand new one... we'll have them posted on our merch page soon (I swear!!!). Come to our shows and get some! (ha, that sounded nasty...)
Has anyone seen the new CityLife that came out today yet? We have an interview in it! How rad is that? It's all about how dorky we are. Pick up a copy, or you can check it out online on our press page.
Yeah, that's about it, oh and one more thing - COME TO THE GUTTERMOUTH SHOW!!! biyatch.

Howdy. Wow, another sparse update from Midgetland... If you haven't heard yet, we are taking a break from shows for a little while so we can work on our upcoming full-length CD, entitled "Erectnaphobia." We have been working on our songs for the past month or so and we start recording at the Bomb Shelter this Saturday, so wish us luck! We are hoping to release the CD sometime in January, but we'll keep you posted. We do have one show coming up - we'll be playing at the NakedMissingPersonz show at the Sanctuary on December 9th. Eight bands, only 5 bucks, should be a rockin' show. Also, if anyone is interested, we have a fairly recent interview on SinCityMusic.com. This one was pretty good for a change, so go check that out if you don't have anything better to do. By the way, Nick V. would like to thank everyone who came out to the Allister show and also to all the bands who played for making it a success. You'll be hearing from us soon enough...

Hello everyone out there in I-Have-No-Life-Internet-Land. An update for those who are bored enough to check this page for updates...
As you probably noticed, we have a few shows coming up here in Vegas. The first is a benefit at Mars Music, the other is at the Sanctuary with The Movielife and Kill Your Idols. We will also be playing in St. George, Utah once again, this time with Curl Up And Die. Check the shows page for more details.
The 3rd Annual Underwear Show was a great success, thanks to all the bands who played and participated and also to everyone who came out to see the show. For those who didn't attend, you missed the very rad and talented Thrice from Cali, Dave from 3rd Man In and his Batman underwear, the girls from Venus Diablo in lingerie/pajamas, Craig from Ptomaine being really tall, and us getting yelled at by the new fat sound guy for moving "his" mics around. Except for the fat sound guy incident, it was a pretty cool show.
Our first show ever in California at The Gypsy Lounge in Forest Lake wasn't so great since it was a bar and it wasn't all ages, but our second show ever in California at Hogue Barmichael's in Newport Beach was probably the raddest fucking show we've ever played. Period. We played in front of a crowd of over 300 people, we got paid $120 just for playing, and on top of that, we sold just about all the merch we had!! Major props go to rad reggae/punk band HB Surround Sound [with members of the Purps, if anyone remembers them from that Ozone show we played at with The Ataris] for hooking the show up for us and for just being all around rad guys!! If you're ever in Huntington Beach, definitely check them out!!!
I say the word "rad" waaaaaay too much.
We recently finished recording two songs at the Bomb Shelter for the upcoming NakedMissingPersonz compilation. They came out pretty (I will refrain from saying "rad"...) good. One is a cover of "Happy Together" (originally by The Turtles) and the other is our original song "Family Values." Both songs will be on the comp, which should (hopefully!) be released within the next month or so.
Jonn and both Nicks started college at UNLV this week, and Jay will be starting at CCSN in a couple weeks or so. Words of wisdom - college is just like high school except bigger and it costs money.
I think that is about it for today's lesson. Don't forget to come to our shows and
throw canned foods at us!

OK, so like... update, yeah. As if you cared...
Good news - we will be playing our first show in California at The Gypsy Lounge on August 11th. Bad news - we found out it's a 21-and-over joint. Check shows page for more details.
3RD ANNUAL UNDERWEAR SHOW - Yes, I'm terribly sorry, on August 16th at the Sanctuary we will be performing in our undies once again. For more info, see our shows page. Also worth mentioning... this very, very rad band from Cali called Thrice will also be playing. Go to their site or look on Napster and check out some of their MP3's because they simply rock.
We have some new merch now... including posters and button pins... we'll have those posted on the merch page whenever I get around to it. I did manage to post the new forest green T-shirts on the merch page, so there.
Warped Tour got cancelled. We didn't get to play. Go get your money back.
We will be back in the studio next week to record songs for the upcoming NakedMissingPersonz compilation. We and fellow rockers Purge will both be appearing on the comp as special guests. We will begin recording at the Bomb Shelter on August 13th.
Miscellaneous crap... Nick Whalen got a new Line6 emulator amp/head and he won't stop playing with all the effects... Jonn ordered a new bass amp/head off of eBay... you can now download MP3's of our songs from Nerdcore either from our music page on this website or from www.mp3.com/7footmidget... we'll have some pics from the show in St. George posted sometime soon... we are going to have a shitload of new shows coming up shortly, so stay tuned!

Hello there. Got some news tidbits here...
We got an upcoming show at the Sanctuary this Thursday> [6/15] with local skanksters Goldfish Don't Bounce and Drive-Thru Records bands Allister, Caught Inside, and the Benjamins. For more info, check out our shows page.
Our new shirts have finally arrived. They come in navy and maroon and they have the midget guy on them. We will have them at the show Thursday and we are selling them for $8.00 each. You can check them out on our merch page.
Word on the streets is that the Lvlocalmusicscene.com Compilation Volume II is out and on sale. Our song "I Don't Date Mormons ('Cuz They Dont Date Me)" is on it, along with a bunch of other songs from Vegas bands. Jeff Inman from Las Vegas Weekly had some nice words to say about the comp and our song, check out his review on our press page. You can buy it from us as soon as we get our copies. We'll let you know when we get 'em, and we'll post the track listings and info and all that crap.
Soon you won't have to put up with these fucking Angelfire banners anymore!! Danny from All Kore has offered to host our site on his server. Hopefully in the next few weeks we will have it all moved over and functional. Danny, by the way, has been working hard on getting All Kore back online, so GO CHECK IT OUT because it rocks.
We found an old interview, courtesy of Allison and Rachael, that was done sometime around May 1999 that never got published. It's one of our better interviews, so we posted it on our press page. Read it if you get bored.
Lastly the four of us just graduated from the hell they call high school. Twelve years for a little piece of paper that says you were stupid enough to spend twelve years to get a little piece of paper, and therefore qualifies you to enter the work force. Its a wonderful world, isn't it?
I think that's it for now. Go to the show. Pretty please. Bye.

Ok, I know it's been a while, but I'll try to cover everything that's been happening. First of all, you may have noticed we finally spent the money to get www.7footmidget.com. Pretty neat, huh? Do us a favor and update your links and bookmarks. You also may have noticed the ugly banners. We have moved our site to Angelfire because of the problems that we have been experiencing on JAHL.org. Derek will be going away for college this year and he will not be able to fix the potential problems that might occur with the site if we keep it on JAHL, so we opted to move the site now instead of waiting. However, Derek's legacy will live on, since much of the design and layout of this site is his creation. We would just like to thank him for everything he's done for us. We love you, Derek! With that said, you will just have to deal with these ugly banners for now unless someone has a better idea or would like to offer us free (or very cheap) banner-less webspace. Also, we had to get a brand new guestbook too, so sign the damn thing if you get a chance 'cuz it looks pretty bare right now. On to other things...
We released our new demo "Nerdcore" about two months ago. Buy it. We'll probably have some MP3's of it posted someday. The music, lyrics, and merch pages have been reorganized. In more news... our song "I Don't Date Mormons ('Cuz They Dont Date Me)" is going to be featured on the upcoming Las Vegas local compilation CD from www.lvlocalmusicscene.com. The comp will also feature songs from the Happy Campers, Pimp, Purge, and many others. It should be out within the next month or so, we'll let you know the release date when we find out. We also ordered some new shirts that we should have gotten by now, but I guess they're running a bit behind.
As for shows, we played three last weekend, it was pretty rad! Friday in St. George, Utah with the Happy Campers was our first show ever outside of Nevada. It was a lot of fun, and yes, we did play "I Don't Date Mormons." Thanx to IsaacCampa for taking us down there. Then we played the next morning at the Whitney Spring Extreme Skatefest Thing with Ghostman on 3rd and Even*Rude. It was a little different, but it was cool, and Nick Vincent's brother Doug even got 2nd place in the open skateboarding competition. Then, later that night, we played with Jughead's Revenge at Sound Barrier and we popped a lot of balloons. It was quite a weekend, thanks for everyone who came out and supported us. Extra props to the kids who showed up at multiple shows, YOU ARE RAD!!! As for upcoming shows, we are playing at the Sanctuary on Saturday, May 27th with The Happy Campers, Perfect Generation, Even*Rude, and the McCarthys. Tickets are on sale now, you can buy 'em from us for cheap, for more info check out the shows page. We'll be lining up some more shows for summer, and we want to start playing some more out of town shows, if you think you can help, e-mail us.
I think that's just about it. If you actually read this whole thing... well, all I can say is I feel sorry for you. Later.

Another quick update... We have some brand-new-cool-free-vinyl stickers (THANX KATIE!!). They are similar to the other cool-free-vinyl stickers we had, but these are in a different font. Check them out on our merch page. You can pick one up at one of our shows (that is, if we remember to bring them...) or you can e-mail us your address and we'll send you one. (Don't worry - we are all too busy to take up stalking - well, all of us except Jonn... so don't send him your address) In website news... new links have been added and dead links have been deleted on the links page, the background for the pics has been changed to something cooler (check it out) and there is a new pic of Nick V. courtesy of Uncle Jesse (plap-sauce!), on the press page is a fairly recent review (from "Las Vegas CityLife") of the Grand Opening of the Midian that we played at, and to top it all off, there has been recent drama on our guestbook. Also, if anyone cares, we are now featured on the local music site www.lvlocalmusicscene.com. Changing gears here... the show at Sunset Park went well except for the rain and the cops, and Goldfish Don't Bounce and Full Pledged are two very different bands that rock very much. In March it looks like we will be playing at a Battle of the Bands and also another show in Pahrump with a certain local band that likes to pitch tents, so stay tuned for more info.

A quick little five-minute update since this thing is really outdated - since the last update, we played some shows, we got virtually banned from the Huntridge/Sanctuary for playing "I Wanna Fuck Your Mom" at the Huntridge. Turns out you can only be obscene there if you are somewhat famous and bring in shitloads of money - as witnessed with the obscene performances of Guttermouth and Gwar that have taken place there. Anyways, it will be somewhat surprising if we ever get to play there again. Some people have no sense of humor. Anyways, we played more shows, sold out of all our merchandise, bleh bleh bleh. We finally decided on the title of our next demo - it will be called "Nerdcore" and we should hopefully release it within the next month, along with some new shirts, stickers, and shit. That's it for now.
