Hey everyone. It's been a while, so here's an update for you all. First off, we have some bad news. Jay has decided to quit 7 Foot Midget and play drums for the Happy Campers. He will play these last two shows we have booked right now and that's it, so you may want to come out and say goodbye and see his last shows with us and all that good stuff.
Having said that, we are now looking for a new drummer! Here are some of the things we are looking for in a drummer:
- can play our songs!
- has their own equipment
- lives here in Las Vegas, Nevada
- preferably out of high school, although not mandatory
- willing & able to practice regularly and play shows out of town
- transportation is a plus
Anyone interested in trying out for us should email Nick Vincent at sixfootdwarf@hotmail.com. And please pass the word along to anyone you think might be interested.
Now for some brighter news, the shows we have been playing lately have been really awesome thanks to all the kids who have been coming out to see us. The shows we played out of town this summer were the best we've had yet. We owe big thanks to Mike & Rudiger and Keith & Codename: Rocky in Orange County, John Larson & The Sophmore Promise in Sacramento, and Amanda & Stoney's Skatepark in Reno. Our show here in Vegas at the The Castle a couple weeks ago was amazing - kids were singing along and everything. We also want to say thanks to all our street team kids in Vegas, Reno, and Cali for helping us promote all these shows, we really appreciate it. We are still looking for more street team members, so if you think you got what it takes, email us and tell us why.
Oh yeah, we have had some new merch for sale at shows lately!!! First off, we have a brand new t-shirt design! It's a black shirt and it's got ugly photos of us trying to play our instruments on it. We also have a new poster with that same design. And we got a new batch of the classic "Midget" design on golden yellow t-shirts. And of course we still have the "Erectnaphobia" shirts for sale as well our assorted 1-inch buttons. So you definitely should go to our merch page and check that shit out.
As far as upcoming shows go, we are playing tomorrow at Smoothie King in Summerlin. This show will be benefitting Shade Tree Shelter for homeless woman and children. There are going to be a lot of free giveaways and even a raffle too. It's also sort of a battle of the bands type deal, where you can vote for which band you came out to see and whoever gets the most votes wins. So come out and show your support for us! We will also be playing the grand opening of the Durango Hills Skatepark on November 9th, so keep on the lookout for more info on that.
Class dismissed.

Greetings from 7 Foot Midget Incorporated. We may be coming soon to a city near you! We have a bunch of really good out of town shows coming up. In late August we are playing in Anaheim, Elk Grove (near Sacramento), and Reno, and then in September we are playing again in Anaheim and also in San Diego. It will be our first time at both the Chain Reaction and at the The Epicentre, so please come out and support us! Tell all your friends! Check out the shows page for more details.
In related news, we have decided to finally start up a street team. We are looking for a few good kids to help spread the word about 7 Foot Midget. Basically, we need people in other cities to tell other people about us and flyer for our shows when we are coming to town. Good places to hand out flyers at are school, shows, record stores, skate shops, the mall, etc. People who have free access to a copy machine would also be a big help. I'm sure you are asking, "Hey, what's in it for me, jerko?" Well, in return for all your help you will get a whole lot of hugs and appreciation from us here at 7 Foot Midget! Okay, okay - and we'll also hook you up with free 7FM stuff. How does that sound? There will probably be other perks but we haven't really worked out all the details yet (we are open to ideas!). Anyway, right now we need help in Anaheim/Orange County, Elk Grove/Sacramento, Reno, and San Diego. Please send Nick Vincent an email at sixfootdwarf@hotmail.com if you are interested in helping and let us know where you live and what you can do for us.
Apologies to the Vegas kids for the current lack of Vegas shows, but we are working on some for September and we will be playing at the Smoothie King in Summerlin on October 4th, so be on the lookout for more info on that.
Oh yeah, and right now our drummer Jay is filling in on the drums for our buddies the Happy Campers on their tour. What a swell guy! So go out and show them some support! You can check out their tour schedule to see if they will be playing near you at www.happycampers.org/shows.html

Hi. It's been a while, so I think it's about time for an update here. Here we go...
First off (and most importantly), we've got a show coming up on Friday, July 26th at The Castle here in Vegas (well, technically I guess it's in Henderson). We are going to be playing with a rad band from California called Rudiger, local cuties One More Weekend, and a fairly new local band called Bide. It's of course ALL AGES, doors will open at 7 PM, and tickets will be $7 (or $6 if you bring a flyer - if you want to print out the flyer, click here baby)
We also have a couple good ALL AGES shows in California coming up in late August. On August 23rd we will be playing at Chain Reaction in Anaheim with Rudiger, Girl Repellent, Willknots, and Name Taken. Then on August 24th we will be playing at Sweet Bean of Laguna in Elk Grove (near Sacramento) with The Sophmore Promise and Penhead. If you are in or near either area, you should totally come out and throw tomatoes at us! For more details, check out the shows page.
Okay now on to the boring part. Feel free to stop reading at any time now. So the 5th Annual Undies Show was a great success! Definitely the best undies show yet. We actually had a lot of kids show up in their underwear, and by the end of the night even more kids decided to get in their skivvies. Even some girls in g-strings! (SCHWING!) There were lots of scantily clad boys, too... it was like some Catholic priest's dream come true! I mean, uh.. yeah, so all the bands were very awesome, especially that fellow geek band Oh, Ranger! (see, we can say that, because we're geeks, too..) But their roadie guy was wearing the same exact black and white striped boxer briefs as Nick Vincent, so that was a little weird...
We're still working on new music. We will probably be playing a brand spankin' new song at the Castle show. Nick Whalen wrote it and it's about why flag burning should remain legal. It's a little different, but way fun to play. He sings it and he's also got this crazy metal solo at the end. You'll just have to come check it out.
That concludes today's broadcast. We better see you all at the show next week, or we'll find out where you live and we'll set up and play in your front yard. We don't even care if there is a lot of dog shit in it. So there.

Hello everyone out there in the INTARWEB. Welp, if you haven't heard about it already, it's that time of the year again... you know, when we play a show half-naked and all you people make fun of our horribly milky white bodies... that's right, it's the...
5TH ANNUAL UNDERWEAR SHOW!!!
That's right, folks, on Friday, June 14th, you can catch us on stage in our underwear at Tremorz along with Audio Karate, Codename:Rocky, Oh Ranger, and The Pinheads. All the bands will be performing in their undies, and this year we want everybody to come to the show in their underwear, too! We're talking total underwear-fest here. So if you do come to the show in just your underwear, you only pay $8 to get in! (otherwise it's $10) And for all you smart-asses out there, wearing your underwear underneath your normal clothes doesn't count... we're talking just boxers, briefs, boxer-briefs, bra & panties, g-strings, wife-beaters.. you get the idea. Anyway, you're not going to want to miss this show because it only happens once a year (kinda like Santa Claus or Jonn getting a date), so come out and have some fun. And you can't use the excuse that you're too shy, because we've all seen that picture you posted on undiesonlyclub.com...
We are also going to be playing some shows in California this summer. On June 7th we will be playing at the Showcase Theatre in Corona with Gameface and Codename:Rocky, and on June 15th we will be playing at Hogué Barmichaels in Newport Beach with our buddies HB Surround Sound and Happy Campers. These should be two awesome shows, so if you're in the area, come out and have some fun.
Some other quick news tidbits here - first off, thanks to everyone who came out to the benefit show for the Moyas! It was a lot of fun and we raised a lot of money for the Vic, Amber, and wee-man Thor. Some of you even emailed me to say you couldn't make it to the show but you still wanted to send them money. It's nice to know there are people out there who care. Here's a great big "THANK YOU!!!" from us and the Moyas.
So here is some amazing news - you may have noticed that WE FINALLY GOT THE PICS SECTION BACK UP ON THE WEBSITE! There are a LOT of photos... some are old, but a lot are newer ones that were never posted before, so go check 'em out if you're bored. And one last thing - we got interviewed in the Las Vegas Mercury a couple weeks ago. If you didn't pick up a copy when it was out on the streets, you can read the interview here.
Well, that's it for today's installment. We had better see you all in your undies at the show!

Most of you here in Vegas probably know or have had some contact with Victor Moya. He's the guy who's been spending most his time trying to keep Tremorz open and all ages while also trying to avoid being thrown in jail for it. If you're in a band, he's probably the guy you talked with to book a show there. If you have gone to any local shows lately, you may have seen the rockin' band he plays drums for, Faded Grey. You may also have seen some of his bitchin' artwork - he's donated his talent for the cover of The Pinheads CD and the cover of our CD, as well as many others.
Well, Vic and his wife Amber just recently had had a baby boy, Thor, who was born with Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome. (I won't bore you with what this means exactly, but if you'd like to find out, check out this webpage --> www.thic.com/hyporight.htm) Anyway, baby Thor already had to have some VERY expensive surgery done in California, and he will have to undergo many more as he gets older. Here's where you come in.
There is going to be a benefit show at Tremorz on Saturday, April 20th for Vic's son Thor. Six bands for only six bucks - Mercury Sky, the Pinheads, the Weirding Way, 7 Foot Midget, Trust, and Horseshoes & Hand Grenades (with members of CUAD). It's quite a diverse lineup, so I'm pretty sure no matter what your musical preferences are, you will enjoy watching at least one of these bands (if not all of them). The show is of course all ages, and doors will open at 6:30. Tremorz is located at 4440 S. Maryland Pkwy. We hope to see most of you there.

Well, I figure it's about time for an update already, since we haven't had any yet this year, heh. I don't really remember what's all happened since the last update, so let's see... Well, we played that New Year's Eve show with Guttermouth at the Huntridge, which was friggin' amazing! (except for the part about it being the last Huntridge show ever, of course) And this time, Whalen's guitar didn't even fritz out, so that was good. Ok, what else... Then in January, we played with Rufio at Tremorz, which was also a blast. They were really nice guys and they definitely know how to rock the place. Then we had a couple shows at Tremorz get cancelled because of that whole 19 and over fiasco, so that kinda sucked. But I guess they are back to doing all ages shows now, which is good. If you missed the pop-up banner on the way in here, the Food Not Bombs Compilation finally came out on Silent Records. We're on it along with Vegas wankers Happy Campers and even some well-known bands like Millencolin, Rufio, Face to Face, Good Riddance, and Midtown. You can get it for only like $7 from Interpunk - check it out here. Also, we sent out our new demo to a bunch of labels and we've begun to get all the rejection letters back (yeay, we <3 form letters!!!). So I think that about brings us up to speed with the present time...
We do have a show coming up (yes, finally!) this Friday at the Brick House with rad bands One More Weekend and Diary (from CA). If you like the Get-Up Kids, Foo Fighters, or Jimmy Eat World, you'll probably dig these bands. For more info on this show, check out the aptly named shows page.
This will probably be the last show you can see us at for a while, so if you were planning on seeing us play live anytime soon, you should probably go to this show. We've all been bogged down with work and school and conflicting schedules and such, so we are going to take some time to resituate (I don't think that's a real word) and write some bitchin' new music. So, in other words, come to this show or die a slow horrible death. Yes, that's a threat.
